Ai Voicemail For Plumbers And Electricians
Tradespeople miss calls because their hands are busy, and the next plumber or electrician on the list gets the job. Voice Mate answers, asks what is wrong and where, and sends you a summary so you can call back the urgent jobs first.
A leak does not wait until you are out from under the sink. Callers with an emergency usually ring the next name on the list when nobody picks up, and a bare voicemail beep gives them little reason to wait. Voice Mate picks up, asks for the caller's name, the address and what is wrong, and puts it in a short summary. You see in a glance which calls are urgent and which can wait until tonight.
Tell the assistant what you do not do, for example that you do not quote prices by phone. Callers get a clear answer and you avoid promises you did not make.
Getting Started
Setup is easy: follow the steps below. You need the Voice Mate app on your phone.
Get the app
-
1. Describe your trade in the instructions
Open AI prompt in the app and write a few lines: what you do, which areas you cover and what you need to know first, such as the address and whether water or power is off.
-
2. Ask for an urgency level
Add a line asking the caller whether it is an emergency. The summary then says so and you know whom to ring back first.
-
3. Turn on call forwarding
Tap the forwarding switch in the Voice Mate app and follow the prompt. Your phone company then sends unanswered calls to your Voice Mate number; you can switch it off again with one tap.
-
4. Call yourself as a test
Call your own number from another phone and let it go unanswered. Check that the summary arrives in the app and that the assistant asked the right questions.
