Ai Voicemail For Veterinary Clinics

Veterinary clinics get urgent calls at awkward moments. Voice Mate answers kindly, asks about the animal and the problem and tells the caller what the clinic will do next.

An owner with a sick animal does not want a beep. They want to know that someone has heard them. Voice Mate asks for the name, the type of animal, what is wrong and a number to call. The summary shows the reason on top, so your team can ring back the urgent cases first.

For true emergencies, give the assistant the number of your emergency service and have it say it clearly.

Getting Started

Setup is easy: follow the steps below. You need the Voice Mate app on your phone.

Get the app

  1. 1. Give an emergency instruction

In AI prompt, tell the assistant to provide the out-of-hours emergency number when an animal is in distress.

  2. 2. Ask about the animal

Have it ask which animal, how old, and what happened.

  3. 3. Turn on call forwarding

Tap the forwarding switch in the Voice Mate app and follow the prompt. Your phone company then sends unanswered calls to your Voice Mate number; you can switch it off again with one tap.

  4. 4. Call yourself as a test

Call your own number from another phone and let it go unanswered. Check that the summary arrives in the app and that the assistant asked the right questions.
