What Is Ai Voicemail
Traditional voicemail records whatever the caller says, if they say anything at all. AI voicemail has a conversation: it greets the caller, asks who they are and why they called, and turns the answer into a short summary and a transcript you can read in seconds.
The difference is that the assistant listens and responds. When someone calls and does not know what to say, it prompts them. When they leave out their number, it asks for it. When the call ends, speech recognition produces a transcript and the AI writes a summary of who called, what they wanted and what should happen next. You receive that summary as a notification, so you do not need to listen to a single recording unless you want to.
You stay in control of the experience: you choose the greeting, the language, the voice and the instructions, and you can switch the assistant off by turning off call forwarding.
